Modern hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed free breakfast!
There were a safe box, multi-channel television, and a mini-fridge-bar in my a double room. The bathroom was clean, with a tub. The hotel was set in a central area close enough to Quito from various directions in Ecuador, restaurants, shops, banks, and restaurants and nightlife abound.

Excellent staff. Good-sized rooms, comfortable with quality fittings. Good location. Good travel and tour agency in the building. A fine mid to upmarket choice at a good price.
Breakfast expensive, but plenty of nearby alternatives including on-site cafe (closed w/ends and hols)

This is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. There is disco/karioki bar that sounds like it is in your room. They wailed to 2;30 am and with a 5:30 am wakeup not much sleep

I liked free breakfast, hotel's good and absolutely perfect location.
I was offered a room with panoramic views of the mountains. Location: the hotel was not far from the center of town, all the restaurants and attractions, and the taxis which park outside.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the spacious and beautifully appointed rooms with thoughtful touches like rose petals on the bed and fresh roses in the room. The basket of fresh oranges was a nice touch too. Having a fire in the room each evening was a cozy and special experience. The facilities were stunning and well-maintained, adding to the overall ambiance of the hotel.
We felt happy with our stay at Hotel Rio Amazonas and had no complaints whatsoever.

1. Staff at reception was helpful and friendly 2. Staff know English! 3. Rates reasonable for the comfort it provides 4. Room very clean, bathroom well equipped 5. Hotel is eco conscious 6. Bellboy service was good and reliable
I would suggest the reception staff make it clear that all of the food/drink items provided in the room or for sale, not for free. Prices for each item should be listed in the room so guests can know how much they spend. I had a couple of soft drinks, chocolates, and potato chips and the bill came to $15 incl. Taxes. Had I known this I would not have consumed these.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the view from my room was stunning. The shower was brilliant and the staff were kind and helpful. They even helped me save money on a taxi to the airport. When I requested better wifi, they promptly moved me to a room with a stronger connection. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to shopping and the bustling nightlife of the city center. the hotel provided great value for money and the staff were super friendly.
Nothings. The hotel exceeded my expectations and I had no complaints.

It is situated in the hip La Mariscal neighborhood, making it convenient for exploring the city. The rooms are comfortable, with amenities such as a comfortable bed and an amazing shower. The staff is helpful and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay.
Some rooms may vary in quality and not all of them have a fridge, which can be a minor inconvenience for families with children.
